Here is gcode to print faceplates to use with RD0194 tweeters to replace your SL1000 tweeters without having to do any routing.
I didn't want to route my cabinets and I got chip out when I tried to route the RD0194 faceplates, so a friend printed me faceplates that are compatible with the RD0194 tweeters and fit cabinets with SL1000 tweeters. All the screw holes match up perfectly with my SDA 1A speakers with SL1000 tweeters. They were printed with a Creality3D Ender-3 printer.

That's a neat idea. Thanks for posting.
Would you consider posting the .STL file? Gcode is very specific to a particular printer and material, so it may not be readily usable by many in the future. -
This is great idea and nice of you to share.
The trickiest part making them from aluminum, is getting the tweeter throat curvature done on a mill due to the special (expensive) end-mill needed.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists. -

So ticked, my model should’ve had the sl 2000 tweets easily replaced with rd 0194, but alas does not. Stood on the line with Polk for an hour to get new tweets, stoked to throw them in plug and play and was not prepared for them not fitting 🤬

You can mod the SL1000 plates to fit RD0 magnets and diaphragms. You can either mill the thru holes radially inward, or simply use a larger drill bit to align RD0 magnet holes....
This is what they'll look like.....
Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.
