Polk RTA 8TL's

I picked up a pair of these awhile back for cheap. One has a blown tweeter. Before I get a new tweeter for it, how do they sound with music? That would be the main use for them.

    I have two pairs of RTA-8TL and think they over perform for their price point.

    The replacement tweeter for the TL version is the RD0-198 which is the factory sub for both the SL2500 and SL3000 tweeters.

    That's the model I was looking at for a replacement.

    Have you ever put them on a small stand to get them a little higher?

    I've tilted them back using points but if you raise them make sure it's a solid base.
