    Thanks--my cousin is an expert woodworker so this may be a great option. I do have a lead on stands for the 10 which I believe can be used. Also, here is some information to shed light on the different types of Polk 7s. The top of my original box is stamped "New Style" so that is interesting. The upper left corner identifies mine as rosewood vinyl. If anyone needs a PDF of the manual let me know. rthwe8uq2imd1i.jpg

    The Polk stands do not have to be used for the Monitor 7 or 10. In fact, you're better off with a stand like what is available with the Wharfedale Linton. The short angled stands were an idea Polk had to aim the tweeter at ear height while providing some degree of a WAF. The Linton type stand is what they should have provided.
