Gang,

I recently start listening to her albums. So far, I have:

Autumn Leaves (Mercer) - JVC XRCD
The Girl from Bossa Nova - SACD Multi- Channel

I don't know whether it is because of her sultry voice, or superb recording, but definitely a soothing experience. Anyone else has her collections? recommendations? thanks.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

It's definitely the superb recordings. Glad you like her, though.

Try Sarah Vaughn or Ella Fitzgerald's XRCDs and you'll immediately notice the difference between great jazz vocalists and all of the others.

    Jacintha's

"Lush Life" Multi channel SACD is nice.

But if you really want to treat yourself to the best. Look for-

Gershwin Live ! Michael Tilson Thomas/Sarah Vaughan

Early B. Is right ! you're talking another level here... If you hear this with some Polk SDA's and some real power Oh My God...

Thanks, guys! I'll check it out next. What is kinda interesting is that hers seem to have good Hi-rez (remaster) coverage, and I've been getting into the habit of (most of the time) looking for the hi-rez version of 'em.
