What's not great news, is the fact that many are calling it racist when the virus is referred to as the China virus or Wuhan Virus. The race card is never far behind any news.

They call the NY times, the NY times because....they are from NY.
Do they call the Washington Post because they are in Washington, or L.A. ?
Are the L.A. Lakers from Miami ?

We call it the Wuhan virus because that's where it started. It's not the Italian virus. Nobody had a problem with that either when this all began. Now, as usual, those wishing to make political hay about every frickin' thing pull the race card again.

This was China's baby from the onset, to attempt to alleviate them of that responsibility is doing a disservice to everyone who has fallen from it.

    What's in your wallet ??

    Tony,
    I agree with you.

So after I picked up the new speakers this morning, the Mrs wanted to go to Sam’s Club for some rice. They open at 10am, and there was 100 people waiting in line to get in! WTH? No thanks.

So lot's of conversation on this topic at work. There has been overwhelming internal support from Engineers, Designers, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, you name it within the company to support. Volunteering their time in fact! Nice to see!

I think the POTUS calling the virus a Chinese virus does nothing but deflect from the US not being nearly prepared enough for an outbreak which was reported to the WHO on December 30, not to mention squash any hopes of cooperation between China and the US in containing the virus and sharing solutions. Also, this also digs us a bigger hole which is the trade war which will only deepen the recession we are headed into. Just another view of how to view what is going on....everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

    Those epicenters are strange sometimes.

In Georgia, there is an epicenter in Southwest Georgia (Albany) where the most people have died. Most of the cases have been attributed to the people who attended two funerals a week and half ago.

In North Georgia, several people have died that attended two different church events. The people were members and former members of the choir.

Last time I checked, no country was prepared. Period.
All of us here had lot's of warning. Yet few were prepared for
what was coming. China did do the world wrong in spreading
    false information about the outbreak.
People need someone to blame. A whole lot of people
could be faulted, but in the end many of us could go look
in a mirror and see ourselves. All we can do is work at getting through this.
