Apologies for bringing this back up again. But with the recent Adorama $400 sale of this pair I'm highly debating on replacing my FXI A4 bipoles with this kit. I realize these speakers are monopoles. I checked the manual and for a 5.1 setup they recommend having them on the sides versus the back. Sadly with my open floor plan I can only have them behind MLP. Is this type of positioning simply not going to work for these speakers?

Thanks makes it 7.1 maybe if you have the ability to test 5.1 with back only would help me decide. -
@pawelmwo It will be a while before I can set them up but if you are using them for strictly movies I think they will work ok.
