    Triggered much?
meaning....are you suggesting Breitbart is not an agenda driven source of news? On either side of the spectrum, there are very few remaining objective sources of news left.

Obviously they all have their slant. However, good news is good news no matter who reports it. We always seem to take bad news at face value...but not good news ? C'mon man, be happy some are conquering this virus.

quite the non political news source

Seriously? Good Lord - here’s a bit of REALLY good news, but somehow we take issue with it. Really gives one the sense that a select few are rooting for the virus.

Here’s the same story from another source - but let me guess, you’re going to have an issue with this one too. Don’t worry, CNN will catch up soon enough.maybe you should be asking yourself why your preferred news source isn’t giving you THIS information...

    https://www.fox5dc.com/news/3-maryland-coronavirus-patients-fully-recovered-able-to-return-to-everyday-life

So what are the approved news sources in your opinion?
I'm sure Fair and Balanced and CNN are all over this story since it will bring us some hope in a time of uncertainty. The point of my comment was one of the most political news sources was quoted in what was supposed to be a non political thread. To suggest I am rooting for the virus since you and I have never had a prior exchange on this forum is ridiculous.

If you’re going to play this game, then you have to admit and accept the bias of Netflix...

    Just sayin’...;-)

I have a question. Since it was stated in another thread that there is no real treatment yet for this, then what exactly is China threatening to withhold ?

Oops, I mentioned China, a political entity. I'll say 4 hail Mary's as my penance. Oops, that's mentioning religion now, also a no-no. Heck , I should just talk about TP, everyone likes TP. Right ?

Just got this e-mail from Microsoft:

    veodyoff6gyn.png
    Excerpt:
Today, we are taking additional steps as this situation continues to evolve, building from the latest guidance. To help protect the health and safety of our customers and associates, our physical stores will be operating at reduced capacity until further notice. This means we will follow protocol for emergency operations, including:

    • We will offer stations at the front of the Store to assist customers with technology and support needs, such as repair services. We want to support our students, families, remote workers, emergency personnel and companies who need technology to learn, work and serve others. We are here to serve these customers and our community.

    • Per guidelines from public health officials, we will create space for customers to have safe social distancing while they are served.

    • We will operate at reduced hours, typically 11am- 6pm. Please check our website for specific hours of operation for your location.

    • Our stores will be closed for general browsing. This will enable us to help prevent the spread of the virus to both our customers and our associates.

    • We will not host events to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We love bringing communities together in our Stores. The best way we can serve our communities during this unusual time is to help protect them by not bringing them together.

    • Our pre-scheduled Answer Desk appointments, 1:1 training, or group trainings will be cancelled. For customers that need immediate technical support, they are welcome to visit our Stores.

And with asymptomatic people being infectious, which they are admitting their initial blunder at the CDC for downplaying the significance of (wow another mistake?), how do you put masks on only those exhibiting symptoms and expect to control this thing when people are assembling in groups?

PS: That so called expert interviewed by Joe Rogan stated that it was primarily transmitted through breathing particles in the air, although I believe he was wrong to downplay transmission from hand contact to the eyes and mucous membranes.

2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; S60'S, M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

This isn't just the media here.

Nobody is dismissing the seriousness of the threat, only questioning why people are being driven into a position of fear when the virus has yet to rise to the level where such a response is warranted.

Back in 2009, we had thousands dead before the media even paid attention to the threat.

Well I suppose because scientists, ie. epidemiologists who number crunch these things and are basing it upon what has happened in the earlier countries, ie. China and Italy, South Korea, etc.. are saying it is just beginning and is going to be much worse than what happened in 2009.

Again, I don't know what to believe, but that is why the fear MAY be warranted. The article makes the point that the deathrate can be decreased by a factor of 10x if a country acts promptly and early enough.

I believe the testing positive post-covid19 infection is due to viral shedding, which like the flu you can shed for up to 4-5 weeks post infection.
