Set up the Triangle Borea BR03 bookshelf speakers yesterday but I didn't get a chance to snap a picture until today (It's always "pics or it didn't happen" with you lot). I got the walnut finish and it looks really nice.

Look nice! Is that some sort of wave guide or diffuser on the tweet?

Thanks! I think these speakers were made with Spiro Gyra in mind. Holy smokes!
which album? I have a lot of their early stuff on vinyl & CD

I was listening to "Good to Go Go" when I wrote that. These excel with unplugged instruments and vocals. Piano is especially addictive. They put one hell of a tweeter in these.

How do you like them compared to all the Dyn's you've had?

I think the tweeter was from the Contour 1.8. They also used the midwoofers from another Contour model. Reworked the xovers of course. I need to spend some more time with them to give a solid impression.

Thanks! Good eye! Yes, it is meant to diffuse the sound coming out of the soft dome tweeter.

Josh, too early to tell. The sound on these keeps changing (out of the box they were not-so-hot). Day 2, and they are opening up quite a bit. Bass response is ridiculous for a speaker this size. Soundstage is huge. Price is nice.

I've been comparing several bookshelf speakers since the L200's left my apartment and I'll be putting my thoughts together for a more formal writeup.

Like I said above, I'll be putting my thoughts down on paper once I've done a little more work and given the Triangle's a little time to "mature." ;)

How is that coffee? It seems to cost more than most of the other brands but the name kept me from trying it.
