Got my new tweeters from Midwest Speaker Repair and popped them in the M7/Series 2s. Man what a difference! Smooth, accurate and an official farewell to the harshness of the original tweets. Loving these speakers more and more!

    I see the RDO-198 has a much lower peak impedance than the SL2500, even though they say it's the replacement for it (10.35 vs 12.8 Ohms). I guess that might not matter too much if the average impedance is close. Voice coil inductance is lower too. I guess it's all close enough to be OK apparently.

    PS: Maybe a smoother impedance curve is one of the reasons the RDO-198 sounds better.
