    correct, and those 4 bolts with washers there look like the laminated power supply bolts that hold it down on the inside.

    The M1.5t is exactly the same as the previously pictured version. Forgot my son's been getting into playing around and swapped out a TMF-55 for my other M1.5t to check out the difference in sound. He says he's switching back to the TFM.

    Those are the output transistors - five pair of TO-3 devices per channel. The 1.5t (as well as the 4.0t/45/42 Family and the silver 7t/9t) use the chassis as the heat sink - that’s why the output devices are mounted like that.

    Sorry, work was crazy yesterday. My son seems attached to the one that I've rebuilt. The pure stock one could be loaned out if you're anywhere near Dallas. I was using it full time before I bought my JC-5 and the only thing wrong is that it needs a recap due to age and the right channel can occasionally cut out due to the relay contacts. Cycling power fixes that. Got all the goodies to bring this into the modern world including gold RCA's and binding post so it's a future project.
