Those are the wrong tweeters for your speakers. You want the RD0194 and yes, you have to call to order.Political Correctness'.........defined

They made M10's with the SL2500 so therefore it would be a RD-0198. IF it is series 2 with a SL2500 tweeter with a foam ring.

Such as these?

Ivan, your point re-enforces why it is imperative that the full and correct model be used when asking such questions.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks for the info. These are the tweeters in question. BTW, stands were built from the leftover Pangea 4th-shelf rack tubes and hardware.

Those are definitely SL2500's, so it appears you have the Series 2 version and would use the RD0198 replacements.Political Correctness'.........defined

for one speakers impedance goes up and down. that is why it is listed as nominal. An 8 ohm speaker can go up to 16 ohms and down to 4 or lower in some cases depending on frequency.
Is there something your are worried about ? -
Just called Polk to order a pair of 198's and the guy said they are NLA, but they still have the 194's in stock. Anybody else hear of this?

Mr natural, we hung out a lot in the 70's.2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.
Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.
The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
