My favorite type of music is the kind that gives you goose bumps from head to toe, that you hear experience, that you fan feel the passion that went into it, and that requires you stop anything your doing and just listen, and I mean really listen to it.

That’s how Tool’s new album was. It enthralled me and I’ve had it on repeat for a week or so straight.

Well I've been waiting anxiously on bated breath for another album to drop from a unknownslightly lesser known artist, and it just did last night/early this morning. After one listen its gonna have to be added to the rotation as well.

What album is that you ask? Why Lindsey Stirlings "Artemis". While the style is a just little bit different  than Tool it invoked those same feelings I felt with listening to Fear Inoculum. All of her stuff is also family appropriate (not that Fear Inoculum isnt persay, or at least my kids have heard some of it for good or bad :tounge:), but its worth pointing out.....

I’d highly suggest a listen. Its not your normal pop rock techno music , but its got something for everyone. I think even @mhardy6647 will give it the thumbs up, and I envy how it will sound on his big boy setup….

Anyway, I know there are quite a few fans of her music on here, so wanted to highlight the new album for her fans like me, and put her name out there for anyone who hasn’t heard so they’d give it a listen and report back once you have.

Unfortunately I'm posting this at the most inopportune time as all discussion in a few hours will be about the "Polk Legends"..... but well.... I couldn't help myself . Hopefulyl this discussion doesn't get lost in all that excitement

So looks like she is continuing her trend of offering a bonus CD with additional tracks, exclusively at Target.

I hate Target, but I just got back from there (it was worth it for +2 tracks!)

Yep. I'm struggling with it. Haven't been to Target in years!
