Bass volume without remote

Hi! In my Polk magnifi mini my remote stopped working. Is there an alternative way to control the bass volume? On the bar it seems there is only control for voice volume. Any help is really welcome. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the devices. Have you checked for gain or volume knobs on the sub itself? The bar should allow you to adjust sub volume, I'm not really sure. Often times remotes are inexpensive. Contact Polk customer service for a replacement.

    What's your setup?
Do you have the ability to control the input from your source?

Dude, it's a soundbar THAT is the setup.

    Apologies...
    Nothing controls the soundbar?
It's just a soundbar with nothing sending it a signal?

    Reckon I don't understand.
Don't do home theater stuff and don't get it?

Is that the only speaker that's used when using a soundbar?
It's not a center channel speaker in an HT setup?

    Forgive my ignorance dude.

HDMI cable from TV sends the signal, they do not hook up to receivers. Soundbars are for those who do not wish to use TV speakers.

Yes, the soundbar use algorithms to create a "surround sound". Typically it is the only speaker besides a sub. Some did have small rear speakers. It is all driven off the soundbar. They are all pretty troublesome and problematic.

    Thanks pit, got it now.
Had to look up what a sound bar is.

Maybe a stupid question but, my TV has adjustments for bass, mid & treble.
Do those adjustments only work work the TV speaker's themselves, or would that apply to the output to a sound bar?

As far as I know that doesn't transfer to external speakers. On every TV I've had you pick TV or external, once you pick external that ability to adjust bass and treble goes away or no ability to adjust.
