Yep shingles sucks! I got it a few years ago at 36. Was about to start a new stressful job and found at we had bonus baby #4 on the way...stress can definitely bring it! My was limited to the torso and wasn’t super bad but it was painful and definitely made sleeping difficult.

Hopefully the specialist has good news and everything clears up without any lingering issues!

Thanks all @Clipdat I was still digging the Tyler's until this happened. On my Aurilic Mini, I put a w4s recovery that has a Femto clock on it ( already owned it) and that made one heck of a difference! I originally picked that up when I was using USB from my laptop into a dac in my old rig. I almost forgot I had it laying around since I was not using it on the KEF LS50 W / Lumin D1 rig.

Doc said I still have quite a bit of swelling. I still cannot hear bass and it feels like my ear is plugged up. Like if you had your finger in your ear or head full kind of feeling. He said because of the swelling it is too early to tell if it is nerve damage yet but, he is hopeful if I do have any kind of loss, it would be minimal. He extended the steroids for 9 more days + the Valtrex I am currently on. At least I am not in pain anymore, and the face feels back to normal, speech is also back to normal. It is down to just the pressure feeling and .

I have to look on the bright side of things, it wasn't a stroke. If I do wind up with a little loss of hearing, it wasn't a stroke.
