My favorite today may not be my favorite a month from now...or even a week from now. Huge fan and there are just too many great songs to choose from.

    I'll go with:
    American Girl
    Mary Jane's Last Dance
Don't Come Around Here No More
Jammin' Me (odd one I know, but I just remember hearing it for the first time on my brothers apartment in college. His roommate had the best system I'd ever heard at the time and "Jammin' Me" just stood out and I've liked it ever since)
Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Current favorite is The Waiting, simply because that’s what’s playing at the moment, in about 2 minutes my favorite will probably change.

I tend to be that way, too, but thinking on this for a minute, I'd probably choose Breakdown, but halfway through I'd probably think of another, and then another...

    No particular order:

    Here Comes My Girl
    Southern Accent
Don't Come Around Here No More
    Room At The Top
Learning To Fly (live version especially)

Guess it's hard to pick a favorite as the list could go on.

Tom Petty, RIP :( is a favorite of mine. I saw at the Kabuki Lounge in San Francisco many years a go. Fantastic! Too many favorites, but I love this one from the early years.

    Mine are all generic but:

Learning to Fly: Uplifting, happy Tom Petty.

Free Fallin: Reminds me of early HS and will always bring up some smiley nostalgia.

Runnin Down a Dream: Some nice motivating guitar from Mr. Petty on this one. Always makes my foot tap.

Every song on this one is my favorite this stays in constant rotation at work if I had to choose a favorite over all of them it would be Swingin which is not represented on this CD. The least favorite would be Dont Come Around Here No More I wont skip it but usually tune it out, if they would of took that off this and replaced it with Swingin this would be a classic.

Mary Jane's last dance. My daughter says that is her favorite song of all. Not just Petty, but overall.

This is what amazes me about Tom Petty. Put out a huge collection of songs covering his career, and still leave out some favorites.

Very few artists are capable of this level of talent.
