Nice Rotel RCD 991 AE flagship CD player w remote.

For sale is my Rotel RCD-991 AE CD player. I am the 2nd owner. This, arguably the best player Rotel ever produced. Many great reviews on line. This IS NOT a regular 991 but the AE version with improved op amps and a few other tweaks. This hefty player weighing in at nearly 17 lbs features a precision transport, dual Burr-Brown 20-bit DACs, HDCD compatibility, unbalanced and balanced XLR analog outputs, optical and coaxial digital outputs (with defeat switch), and perhaps the most unique feature: user-selectable dither. Dither is a very small amount of digital noise added to a digital signal that can help improve the linearity of a DAC, particularly during low-level musical passages. I found the setting of 4 to be best for me but you may like a different setting. The player does not have a lot of time on it. and works as it should. It is in great shape but there are a few marks on the top surface but the front is very nice. Includes power cord, Rotel remote and copy of manual item will be very well packed. $349 or BO

    You snooze you lose!

Dave: No idea, as I don't have firsthand experience with it, but on paper it's specs are more impressive for sure.
