GM started its slide for me when all their platforms went front wheel drive and dropped the V8's... This opened the door for the European luxury cars and the Japanese econoboxes, followed by Lexus... Once ground was surrendered on both ends of the spectrum, defeat was inevitable. Pioneer SX-1250. I owned it for about a month before I was advised by a forum member who is no longer active to get into separates. I bought a NAD 2600 and a 1300 pre. I plugged them into my system and never plugged the SX-1250 back in. I sold it before the week's end on Craigslist. That was about 10 years ago and I have never looked back on a receiver.

I'm still using my NAD separates for my main system too. C370 and it's matching tuner..Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
