This is about as hideous as it gets... the perp needs to ride a helium balloon to about 20,000 feet and then let it go pop without a parachute.

    My god.

One of my students is doing a story on a babysitter who shook & threw a 6 mo old, leaving him disabled.

As divine as humanity can be at times, we too often define ourselves as evil.

    Bless that family.

Story says the **** planned on throwing a man but for some unknown reason changed to a little boy. The reason is simple. He's a worthless mangina and was afraid a man might be stronger than him and knock him out, or maybe throw his buttocks over the railing. A little guy was easier to handle and it would damage at least two people. Little guy's mom probably wouldn't last much longer after going through it.

There is NO amount of punishment or rehab they can put him through that warrants him to ever walk the Earth again. I kinda like the hot air balloon idea. It would save a crap-load of tax payer's and it might feel like some actual justice to mom, dad, aunts, uncles, grandparents and everyone else feeling pain from his actions. Frickin pee-rick!!

Can you believe what that guys Uncle said? It's "unfortunate" that this happened because of a mental illness? Are you freaking kidding me? UNFORTUNATE? WTH kind of description is that? What kind of society are we becoming? Dang, that chaps my hide. I think finding the tallest tree is Minnesota would be the answer to this...

But, yes, very good news for the boy!

One that can't be proactive in dealing with someone like this guy because we will infringe upon his rights. Instead we have to wait for him to do something crazy and then react to his actions.

Here is some great news to share from Landen’s family!

We are pleased to share that our son completed his inpatient rehabilitation and is now home. We are so thankful, and we rejoice in the Lord’s blessings to our family.

We continue to ask that His healing powers guide us and our son’s care team as we enter the next phase of recovery, which includes continued outpatient rehabilitation for multiple injuries and adjusting to life back at home and school.

Thank you to all of you who prayed for us and loved us during the past 4 ½ months. You helped to give us hope and show us the Glory of God’s great love here on earth even during the darkest of days.

We know there is great interest in our son and our story. We respectfully ask that you allow us time and continued privacy during this great transition.

While the story is a great one, I’m not real sure how the mall of America is even remotely to blame for this one? The fact that the family sued the mall is a bit out there in my opinion. How was the mall staff supposed to know this man was going to commit this act?

The man was very well known to mall security before his inexcusable attack on the boy. He had been arrested and removed from the mall in the past for assaulting others. If it was my boy, he would have taken his last breath a long time ago.

Didn’t know that. Still don’t know how the family expects mall security to pick one out of thousands and prevent entrance. Fully understand this is a very tragic event, but this country’s willingness to sue anyone and everyone is a bit ridiculous
