aragon 18k preamp?

Hi Guys: Been watching the threads and need advice. Recent ads in local ( GA ) ads for a Aragon 18k preamp for $200. Is this a decent price. Also another ad for 2 Soundcraftsman amps 400 watts each plus a tv, receiver, and cd player plus two custom 3 way speakers for $500. He says the amps are what the money is for. I think they are 92 vintage. Should I jump on these or pass. Would these make my Monitor 10s talk to me?

are you asking if $200 for a $18,000 preamp is a good deal? Sound either not real or like a stolen product...
$500 for the other set doesn't sound too bad depending on what SC amps they are and on what the other stuff is... -
The Aragon 18k is a model, not the original price :P

It looks like $200 might be in line, but I don't have any prior knowledge of this preamp.Ludicrous gibs! -
Very good preamp with open sound. If I weren't banned from making any more audio purchases and it were local I would be all over it.
