2 AVR receivers-Pioneer Elite VSX-32 and Yamaha RV-V663

I bought both of these models new and they served me well with flawless performance. However, they aren't being used and so need a new home. Perfect for surround sound listening and an inexpensive way to check out the whole experience. Manuals, remotes, audio setup mic all there in the original box and no scratches, dings etc. . No pets, kids or smoking in da crib. I can ship but local pickup, meetup maybe even delivery would be great. Either zip 20782 or 19971. Pricing a bit difficult so let's try $175 for the Pioneer and $125 for the Yamaha plus actual shipping costs if needed. I think the easiest way to communicate is to direct email me at jhw59 at hotmail.com. You should be able to google both models for more info or ask me. Paypal (friends and family preferred) or USPS money order. Cash if local transaction.

Plenty of ++ feedback on ebay and the Hoffman forum under jhw59

Thanks for looking!

I purchased a Pioneer Elite VSX-52 from @mark090852 a couple years ago to replace an entry level Pioneer AVR in our master bedroom. I was absolutely floored at the improvement in SQ with the step up to the "Elite" line.

It looks like the VSX-32 is the same basic AVR with one less HDMI input and one less sub pre-out. So, I'll second/third what Shawn and Paul said - this is a fantastic AVR at a great price!

Ive owned that same model Yammy. Really nice sounding AVR. Not good for upconversion, but would work well for entry/second system that's primarily music.

You may want to remove this and send it via PM, I believe you can change destinations and such using it. Could end up being stolen without you realizing until it is far too late.
    congrats on the sale!

Nope, not dumb enough to steal from Tony. That's why I let him know, so some poor, unsuspecting criminal doesn't have you-know-who show up at their front door, concrete in hand...
Seriously though, that would be stealing and no I didn't do it, just in case someone was actually blaming me (which I don't believe to be the case). If I did, I'd be more afraid of my dad than Tony, because I have a head start on Tony. My dad would not be happy about an unpaid for receiver showing up at the door...

Don't know why it sat as long as it did at that price. All the dudes looking to move up from their entry level receivers but can't afford it, things like this are your answer. Cheaper than an entry level receiver and 5 times better.

Always glad when my equipment goes to good homes!
  • I think some are put off by how Pioneer does their number on units, without really doing some homework on how good some of their equipment is. The 32 & 33 are very good mid level AVR's that have pre-outs (something I gave up with the 502). The SC line over shadowed those VSX sister units.
