Santa brought Avengers: Infinity War... and

Merry Christmas to everyone to start:) this year flew by for us I don’t know about you!

Yes Santa brought us Avengers on blu ray and guess what, when I pop it in I get to the screen you would usually choose English or Spanish audio and none of my choices show on the screen, just a picture of Titan. you can no longer open the player or use the stop button. None of the buttons do anything. I can only turn it off, unplug it etc. try it multiple times and it doesn’t change results. I figure try exchanging it for another maybe.

Using a Marantz UD-7007.

It happens, dead/damaged discs are out there. A friend had a problem with Dredd on Bluray, it played once or twice for him then just wouldn't work on his (older) Pioneer Elite BDP-09FD. He lent it to me to see if it played on my Oppo 103 and I got the same results, the player just said No Disc. The disc was as new, not a mark or scratch on it.

If you got it recently just exchange it; if not contact the studio and they may send you a new one.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Aw man that stinks. Ok yeah no problem taking it back, wall mart will exchange anything even if it’s been opened and the same item.

I mentioned once after getting the first Avengers on blu Ray it skips throughout the film. It wasn’t scratched and the second copy I replaced it with did the same thing. I don’t understand, these were the only two bd’s this unit has ever had a problem with. I will add that I haven’t had this unit hooked to internet since I’ve had it.

Do you have another blu Ray source to try? PS3,PS4, or xbox One? At least you can rule out the disc. I have never had one issues playing a blu Ray with any of the players I listed above. But then again I only purchase about six movies a year. The rest are rented from redbox. Good luck. D

Of course I don’t, none of my family owns a blu Ray player besides me either, that would make things way too easy! Irritating, like I said the only time I’ve ever had an issue playing a disc was the first Avengers film and it skipped throughout the movie. Never a problem with any other disc period

It was meant to be a cliff hanger, just like Kill Bill 1. Perfect set up for Kill Bill 2, which everyone jumped on when it came out a year later.

I wonder if getting the region free version of the infinity war blu Ray would work or make a difference. It’s a bummer situation anyway. We saw endgame Thursday night and I am/was very overly satisfied. I would leave a review but...
