Got New Speakers, now Which Receiver

Hi. Just got the T series at Wal Mart - (awesome by, 2 t15s, t30 and 2 t50s for 149.00). I had part of the tseries before and loved them but had to move and pawned them so I had money to move.

I have them paired with junk right now (RCA 2781 BT) https://www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-Bluetooth-Home-Theater-System/105223402?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227040083346&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=91186959032&wl4=aud-566049426705:pla-185700914192&wl5=9026105&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=105223402&wl13=&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjszhBRDgARIsAH8KgvflhpOgTvIvpDBylbowbyeu9XRcbcORnwmlG1X8r-Fu9XA2oMcozb4aAjC5EALw_wcB

Before I had a Sony DH 550 5.1. Loved it, got it for like 50.00 at a pawn shop. I could adjust the bass, treble and more. This RCA, I've got through Optical hookups and can't adjust anything. So, I'm wanting to delegate the RCA to the spare room TV and get a new Receiver. I will also need a sub, thinking of the PSW 108 or 110.

Which receiver should I go for paired with the t-series?

Those speakers don’t need much power, but I have not found Sony to have very good sound quality. I would go with whatever Yamaha or denon you can afford. Marantz slimline is another possibility. Check accessories4less.com

The denon x2400h and x3400h are $400 and $600, respectively, on amazon and probably crutchfield too. The x2400h would serve your needs plenty, but I think the difference for the x3400h would be worth it since it has pre-outs for an external amplifier in case you upgrade the speakers down the road.

    Sony 790S
