    Get a Kitchen aid mixer and buy the grinding attachment. Besides an occasional pack of Costco hamburgers I have not bought preground hamburger in 20 years. It takes 5 min, and cleanup is easy. You just rinse it off the chunks and put it in your dishwasher. You can do a course grind too.

    Plus you can usually find a chuck steak (which makes the best burger ever) for cheaper than mystery scrap ground meat.

    And why I buy all of my meat, cheese, eggs, milk, veggies from local farmers. Even have year round produce from a local greenhouse grower.
