In my job I have to go to peoples houses. Seems the closer I get to the center of the city the larger the concentration of idiots.

I just saw a political spokesperson and another on the panel say he/she never heard of "The Golden Rule". :o:s:#

Don't the schools teach that awesome rule to live forever by at an early age anymore?

Maybe that's been the problem for all these years!

    Dskip.
Sorry you got offended. Have you not seen for yourself the age of most red light runners yet?
I pointed out 2 people who haven't heard of the G. rule, not a whole generation of yours ( I have no idea how old you are without researching ) or whatever.I think they are 30ish, I don't know. Just the examples I see of younger people, not all, but some, let the door to a restaurant close in an elderly persons face.

If those delivery drivers ( of any age ) lived by that Golden Rule, the packages would've been handled with care...don't you think? Or do you not know what this rule says?

Maybe you should've commented on whether YOU were taught it or not instead of bashing me. :p:)

Impulsivity is the product (largely) or an underdeveloped prefrontal cortex, which isn't done until the mid 20s for males.

Every generation has its forms of impulsive behavior. And most generations (going at least back to the Greek Enlightenment in the 5th-4th century BCE) think that the next generation is going to hell in a handbasket lol...

As for packages, I'm not surprised that its a clusterfork. This hit the industry pretty quickly, and it will take some time to settle down.

My youngest son works for UPS. They are investing something like 2b dollars in upgrades to handle the avalanche of packages. They just finished a 50 million addition to the sort complex in which he works.

My Grandmother told me once, most men have no sense until they turn 40....lol.

My generation is full of fools and idiots. Why would that offend me, it's not my fault that they are reprobates? I am of the opinion that each sucessive generation has gotten worse because the culture has gotten equally worse by every metric that I can think of. I weep for humaninty but not for myself because I am a rather decent sort of chap.

So today I just had a package delivered to the front door by USPS. 6:30pm EST. Freezing cold outside. The young mail carrier rang the bell, handed me the package. Wow! In that instant was my faith in the younger generation restored?

Well, maybe. But wait, there was postage due!

I thanked her, paid the postage due, and gave her a tip!

Every generation whines and moans about younger generations....and on and on. Are things really better or worse than they were 20 years ago? Is the world a more dangerous place?? Do I need the new iPhone? Who shot JR? Who killed Laura Palmer? Will there be any social security money left when I retire? Should I take the red pill or blue pill? All these questions have plagued generation after generation...kids these days with their rock n roll music....or their long hair....or their black makeup and nails. Kids these days...they have no direction or work ethic. "When I was a kid I walked to school in the snow for 5 miles!". Some day a generation will come which will be unable to clean up the damage previous generations have done to the environment....because the older generations were too busy complaining to consider the really important things in the world. Peace.

Your "frameless" shower is still a framed shower dude. Regardless of its identity.

Not complaining or moaning. Just stating the facts, ma'am.
