Timbre matched Salk SuperCharged Surrounds in Da Houze!

Options
About 2 years ago I scored a Salk HT2C center channel from Ben, aka falconcry27 . . . Unfortunately, Ben has not been active on the CP formum in about a year and a half

In anticipation of moi upping my HT acumen, I’ve ditched the 23-year-old Definitive Technology BP2 surrounds and C1 center channel for timber matched Salk speakers all the way around
So, if anybody’s interested in those Def Tech pieces, PM me

Also, I’m impatiently waiting on one of the last Oppo 205’s . . .

Take a looky-lou ...

Sweeeet. Great looking speakers. I love my Salk front 3 for HT. I bought them for 2 channel but HT is superb. So much more realism to the sound than standard theater speakers. Let me know when your having a HT or 2 channel get together I’m only about 30-40 minutes away! B)

    what’s your nearest intersection?

UR running TWO F25s!!!! Clearly, your shack is more spacious than mine!

jSalk did a F12 in XLR3 for me, But then I decided ( wanting to move up to) multiple subs . . .Brian @ Rythmik tells me all of those multiples have to be in XLR2 … Are all yours set up that way… All subs in XLR2?? ... Master w/slave

I live by Bogey Lake Road and M59 close to Alpine Valley. Work at Maple and Coolidge. The 2 – F25’s power a 10,000+ cu. Ft basement. They work beautifully. I have them set-up at XLR3. My Marantz has dual sub outputs and calibrates both individually and then the 2 together. So output and timing is calibrated for both. I verify everything with REW. Before the Marantz, I initially set up my prior subs similar to the master/slave approach. To me, the dual sub calibration with the Marantz is far superior and easier.

Busy as hell. Working too many hours and not enough time enjoying the free time available. And I’ve been hardly been home on the weekends. So, I’ve been more lurking than posting on the forum. Let us know when you’re by Metro Detroit and we can meet up for a brew. We’ll get ahold of glendog too to see if he can make it. I believe Verb is in the area too.

    Nice goin' Glenn!

I've been working lots of hours too. They can't find anyone that can fix stuff. Been through five guys the last two years. They either can't or don't want to.

XLR subs have been on my list for upgrades. Would like to get them from Salk in matching Black Limba like my SS8's.

Your listening space is on par with Thortons. Meaning you'll need 2 Big Rythmiks, too.
