IT

Just got back from seeing "IT". I thought the movie was fantastic.

Bill Skarsgard was good as Pennywise. No complaints whatsoever. Don't go into the theater looking to compare this performance with Tim Curry.

The real highlight of the movie of course is the Losers Club. All seven young actors were perfectly cast for this and did an amazing job! There were times I thought back to my own childhood and hanging with my friends (minus a menacing child eating clown of course). Fun fun movie!

Now the wait for part 2, which production hasn't even started on yet. My vote for the adult Beverly Marsh...Jessica Chastain. As for the rest of the casting, I hope they do as well with the adult characters as they did with the child characters.
No excuses!

We just got back from seeing this totally a 80's throwback they just don't make them like this anymore, awesome movie Goodies, Stand By Me, and all the other type of movies like this need to make a comeback. The actors were perfectly casted. I will purchase this one once released on Blu-Ray. We are also looking forward to the 2nd installment.

My daughter and I went this past Sunday. It was a decent movie that followed as close to the book as possible for a 2 hr movie. Part 2 will deal with the kids as grownups I assume.

Anyone watch this on their HT yet? I streamed it last night and there were some pretty sweet deep bass scenes. I imagine the sound from the Blu ray must be even better.

How’s the video quality? I would have liked more dynamics in he dark scenes but I bet that was a result of streaming and now using a 4K copy.

Might buy. I liked it way more than I thought I would.
