    Florida has more than it's share of Ponderosas and Golden Corrals and fast food out the wazz. There are lotsa good eats especially close to the coasts...I don't know how the Applebees and Olive Gardens survive...But you know what I don't see anymore is those GD Bob's BigBoy joints...Those were some real vomitoriums...Looks like they are down to about 5 states and very few locations....

    Hahah, have not seen a Bob's Big Boy since i left Barstow CA in 1988! We ate there a lot!

    Great time of year to visit Florida. We should plan a dinner gathering as previously stated. Bern’s Steakhouse is awesome but pricy. One of the largest wine cellars in the world that can be toured as your dinner is prepared. The real jewel is we could skip the world class steak and just meet I the Dessert Room which operates on the second floor as a separate and is an equally unique experience.

    Actually check the menu ... their prices are not out of this world. Similar to Ruths Chris and other good steak places and ever their wine prices are ok with fair prices and wines by the glass.
