    Life after the famed LSi9/LSi7 quatruplet?

    Hmm.... I'm thinking maybe going for exclusive 2-channel with either the Onix Strata Mini or a pair of Martin Logan Montage or Mosaics.

    Always something to look forward to.

    But I dont know if I can still improve upon the LSi9 in near field listeining (computer speakers). Perhaps they can be improved for far field listeing (8ft or more) but I dont really know since I use it solely within less than 5 feet.

    We shall see...

    Besides, if I never got another pair of speakers until I graduate med school, I wont be sad. The LSi9 are great at what they do!

    I just gave into temptation and plunked down the $$$$ for my lifelong want of SDA SRS. I will NOT be upgrading any time soon... or later...

    (now at some point down the road I may buy a companion set of speakers that I found intriguing when I demoed them 5 years ago: Von Schweikert VR4, but that will be in addition to, not replacing the SRS). :D
