Nice design. Only one analog input (besides phono). Interesting.

So no interest in the NAD M22 V2 simply because it's class D?

    A $3k amp is "cheap" class D?
    DSkip wrote: »
Nope. Cheap class D has a long ways to go to catch up to a good class A/B. D doesn’t offer the qualities I look for in music playback, though it does for others.

I believe "Ferrari vs. Corvette" is what you were looking for.

Let's be honest, which one would you rather have? :)

Maybe it's the wrong analogy but you get my drift. :D

Ferrari vs Corvette? That's a brand vs a model, doesn't make any sense. So a seven million dollar LaFerrari is a choice? You could buy a mansion and multiple Corvettes with that.

Ferrari. I know I can’t afford it, but I can dream
Besides, the Corvette recently is trying to look like a Ferrari, and that’s not cool.

What did everyone tell you about quoting BELOW your own post?

    (2 can play this game!)

What I believe Skip is getting at is that class D tends to be very clinical with little warmth to the presentation. That works great in a very dynamic home theater environment or when you aren't worried about critical listening.

Don't get me wrong, class D has come a LONG ways but class A will always win with its tube like warmth while AB will give you the best of both worlds without breaking the bank (Solid state-ly speaking that is)

Thanks for your insight on Class D vs. Class A and A/B.

I have a set of powered monitors that have Class D amplification, but that's the extent of my exposure to it.

I'd like to hear that Technics Integrated, always liked some of their Integrated offerings. I'm the proud owner of a couple of the Monster Integrateds that Technics made my are European Models just like in this Thread.

I'm surprised class D isn't more popular with car head units given space and heat restraints.

If they were yellow and you also had the choice of a smart car with a color of your choice what would you choose?
