Going rate for a pair of LS90’s

I just discovered a pair of LS90s for sale about 2 hours from me.

I haven’t seen many of these speakers for sale. The price is $500 with a CS350. If they are in good shape, is this reasonable? Seems a little high to me.

I can’t tell the finish from the photos. Looks maybe to be piano black

There is also a pair of LS50s nearby for $300 as a price comparison.

Thanks,
Ian

You could sell the CS350 for around $120 if you don't need it.

So $380 is reasonable for LS90 in great condition in my opinion.
The condition of the speakers would be a big decider for me. Enjoy.

$300 is a good value. Any more and they better be pristine. At $500 I'd want pristine boxes as well.

I've seen 2 sets of ls90's for sale locally in the last few weeks. The first set was quickly snatched up as the seller was only asking for a hundred dollars. The very same set went on sale 2 days later for 300 dollars.

They haven't sold in 2 weeks.
    2.3TL, 3.1TL, SRS 2, SDA 2B, SDA II,SDA 1C, 7B, 7C, 7 series 2, 10B, 5JR+, 5JR, 5A, 4.5, 4, RTA 11TL, RTA 8TL, RTA 8T, LSI9 Ebony, LSI7 EBONY, LSI7 CHERRY, LSIC, RTI A7, RTI A3, CSI A4, CSI A6, F/XI A4, RTI4. That's all for now.
  • After contacting the seller, he already said he would take $300 for 90s and the cs350.

Looks like slight cosmetic issues around the grill, what looks like peeling tape. Not sure what they looked like originally.

And they are rosewood, which I think looks the best out of the other options.

That is normal wear for them. The glue doesn't hold up well over time. You could peel it all off and probably paint the front.

Also expect some damage to the frame that the grill insets to. The plastic tabs were small and with age are very easy to break.

  • After looking at photos online, it looks like the is different variants of the front face, one has a trim that protrudes out forwards the front and the other has a flat face. Anyone notice this?

Some might have taken the bracket off.
