Yesterday I had the opportunity to pick up a pair of these bookies for $35. Unfortunately, one of the tweeters wasn't working and I passed given that the best I could find was that a replacement RDO-198 was going to cost $50-$60. Wasn't motivated to spend the $ either to have mismatched tweeters or replace both of them. Polk CS was closed so I couldn't get the CP price from them. Any ideas what the CP cost is these days for a 198? Do SL-2500's come up for sale often?

Update: just scrolled down and saw someone else recently asked something similar and got my question answered. $48 so at the minimum, I'd still be in these speakers for $82. Not the deal I was hoping for.

    @FestYboy nope, these are in SoCal. I'm going to contact the seller and see if I can work something out based on @kevinko 's tweeter offer. They'd make a nice office rig at work if the price is right.

    I bought a pair for $24. Mine had the SL 2000.... dropped in 2 RDO 194, redid the crossovers, and was very pleased with the results. Actually amazed with the sound in my office rig.
