    Can soneone explain to me why that sub cable has a ground wire? I've never seen a sub that had connections for one. I presently have 4 subs in use and none are grounded that way.

    some do to stop hum. IIRC most all of the Audioquest have one. I believe you would back out a plate amp screw and attach then tighten. It your receiver has a phono section you would use that ground post as well.
