So Wednesday night I broke out in a rash and had to wake Danny up at 3:00ish to get meds and take a shower. We both assumed it was the couch.
Today I wake up with a beat red abdomen and patches on my arms and legs. Apparently it wasn't his couch, but something in the blanket I brought. Fun times.
First day has ended and it was incredible! It has already surpassed my expectations. I expect to be featured in a big publication and also in a video for a big name in high end audio (the guy whose song selection was featured in the video was absolutely in shock and awe).
I'm having a blast and already feel like it was a success without even going into the next two days. The sound seemed to get better and better as the day went on for some reason. Now I spend tonight tweaking again....
Back in Skips room. I'll tell you he should get an award for best sounding room. The gear, the speakers hard to find fault. Affordable too. High marks to Skip.

We had a great time listening to a large variety of tunes after dinner into the midnight hour. No alcohol just a lot of fun and good music. I am building a TIDAL list of all the great music we played in the after party. The system sounded magnificent! We played it loud at times without any fatigue on any music the whole time I was there. Beautiful voices and midrange. Good low end too.

I checked every room but one. The one i didn't, the lady asked that i and others come back in 30 min. because they had a "special" demo for some important folks. I guess we were not.... Tried very hard to sit and listen in the Magico room. The guy kept playing Somewhere over the rainbow but just a very small part of it over and over while he kept plugging up different small ports with these special buttons. It just drove folks out of the room. I only went on Saturday started at the top and worked my way to the bottom. Met and shook Sandy Gross's hand. Those new Triton reference speakers sure sounded smooth.
One thing i did notice was many many rooms were using anti cables reference power cables.
Video by Peter Breuninger. He caught me off guard at the beginning - I didn't know he was filming until he spoke to me and it took me a minute to process it all.
Great news Dereck I speak for most of us here were proud of our very own DSkip good job.
