Rotel amp

Was considering purchasing this amp to run in a three channel config. at a pair of lsi7’s and a lsic.
Would this amp be a good match for the lsi’s?
Is this a good price for this amp?

    That one isn't going to work for you. The LSi's are 4 ohm speakers and the Rotel when bridged to a 3 channel amp is only rated to drive 8 ohm speakers. Rotel makes a good product and they make a dedicated 3 channel amp, so maybe you'd want to keep a eye out for one of those. Check Audiogon too.

    Up to $450.
    Really looking for a five channel, but I'm considering several options.

    It's gonna be tough to find any decent amp that will suit what you are looking to do with that budget. $450 pretty much limits you to a stereo amp. What you might think about is the Marantz MA-500 monoblocks. You could get 3 for close that. I was running 5 before I upgraded. They'll do 180 watts into 4 ohms. Not a bad little amp either.

    I have that amp. It's a nice amp but probably not appropriate for your speakers. It's power up thump in bridged mode canl make you winch at times.

    There are 3 of these amps on ebay right now in Dallas. They would push your LSi7s real nice.

    Sometmes you can pick these up seperately as M1s or mounted on a rack together they are called an M3.

    You can get a Harman PA5800 used for about your price range which will drive your surrounds...I am waiting for mine that I got on ebay. It got extremely good reviews for the price and can ddrive 4 ohms at about 110 watts/ch. They are supposed to have that great HK sound....

    i use that amp for my front soundstage. got it for a rediculously cheap price as a floor model at 6th ave electronics. i have 2 of the sections bridged powering rta-12's realized they are 4 ohms and was not too kosher, but it has driven the 4 ohm load for almost 2 years without breaking a sweat. if you can get the amp for a great price, i wouldnt rule it out. i love the amp, and as i said, it drives my 4 ohm load speakers without breaking a sweat.

    this is true, it does pop like hell at times.
