Different Drivers between S 60 & S 55 ?

The 6&1/2 drivers in these speakers have a different description
in the Polk Tech info. Do the S 60 use different drivers than in the S55?
Denon X1200W
Sony BDP S-590
Mains Signature S60
Center Signature S55
Surrounds Polk RTi-4

    Just so everyone knows--I called and had a tongue wag with tech support and the S60 does have different 6&1/2 drivers than other speakers in the Signature Series. You're Welcome.

    Nice info! Did tech support describe any benefits or rationale for the difference?

    The S 60's have a 4 layer Voice Coil and different motor for better control--different part number also, The S 60 drivers also have different impedance--I put the tech guy through the wringer with my questions but he was very nice and said he enjoyed talking with someone who had tech questions--he had to look some things up because he didn't know the answers. Now we are both smarter.
