My SDA-2BTL's

I don't have even near the space to do these justice. All mods I have done to these myself. Sonicaps and Mill resistors through out, Rdo-198 tweets, all baskets dynamatted, BH5 damping, hurricane nuts with button head torx screws, cabinets sealed, magnets power grabbed, updated binding posts. Other than a couple tiny (pin holes) in the material on the sides the cloth is flawless. Speakers are a solid 8 of 10 imo. These come with the original sda cable (blade/blade) owners manual and a spare 6511 driver, and spikes (drilled and inserts installed). Asking $550.00, pick up only in Columbus, OH.

    They look great. GLWTS.

I recently cleaned house, and gave away a stock pair. To be honest, I was a little P.O.ed at them since the sides warped, came unglued, and the cloth came off. The new owner said he was going to restore them, and I hope he did. They deserved some TLC. Jose, la2vegas, also picked up some excess gear at that time.

Can anybody drive these to Colorado for a pitstop at @Nightfalls place. They would only be there for a few days til @daddyjt picks them up along with the 1.2's. I reckon I can drive up to Salt Lake for these beuts.

At the rate we're going, I think I'll just rent a U-haul trailer, and play Santa:-)

If these got to my place I'd figure out a way, money wise, for them not to leave.

Go for it Ricardo, you know you have the itch. Get a nice tube pre and Pass amp. You'd need a dreadnought.

    And only 100 miles away....

Why would I need a dreadnought? Those things didn't even exist 5 years ago....At least I don't remember hearing about them.....

They did exist 5 years ago, it was called the Polk Audio AI-1

100 miles away? Get on it, Ricardo! You may regret it later if you don't. Awesome speakers, my favorite that I've owned so far. >:)

OK. So why would I need one? I see it has the original cable.

I'm assuming you have monoblock amplifiers? You'd need an AI-1 or Dreadnought in order to run monoblocks or use an amplifier that's not common ground.

Even used with a stereo common ground amp the Dreadnought improves the sound quality as many here will attest.

Too bad you are so far away, these were my favorite SDA's that I owned, and a hell of a deal.
