    I am resisting so hard. If I had any reasonable reason to upgrade my HT, I would pull the trigger in an instant but I cannot justify. Plus I would want the 705's for my 2 channel

    I just bought a bundle there a 2-3 few weeks back. Got the 707s, 704c, and 703s for $2600 shipped no tax. I sold the 704c on Amazon for $390 shipped and took about $315 after fees and S+H. Bought the 706c they had on sale for $600, so got the bundle for about $2900. Now just got to sell my old RTI A9s and other polk speakers.

    One of my 703s arrived damaged, the 6 1/2" was totally destroyed and smashed in. Get my 706c today since it was backordered and they ship my replacement 703 today!

    Many different reasons, but being a warehouse manager for so many years has taught me never trust a buyer who thinks they can forecast.

    Lets say a buyer/forecaster @ Best Buy thought they were going to sell 300 units this year and only 200 sold. They then need to get the 100 units off the books before they have to report them on the books as standing inventory. Getting them out the door @ bare cost is better than having stale inventory. Bean counter then see's a 0 rather than big $$$ not being sold.

    any time Polk cleans out a product line Fry's has them on sale for dirt. THey are a company that make bean counters happy
