Torturing Russ...

So today begins the 4th day of torturing Russ with Iowa hospitality.
In honor of the British MotoGP race my wife and I are hosting a British party...
Bangers and mash, Scotch Eggs, Mushy Peas, British deserts and cheeses and Brit beers.

Russ and I started the festivities early with some Bass/Guinness Black and Tans...

I will post food pics once my wife uploads them...

PS: Drunk Russ sounds far more intelligent than sober Russ.

It almost happened yesterday...after a full day of drinking and eating, apparently the lil feller was starving because he raided the fridge at 11:30 for hard boiled eggs and dill pickles...

Thanks for the pics. I now know that Bangers are sausages, why they call them bangers is still a mystery. Mash is self explanatory once you see the pic. But I still don't know what scotch eggs are. Please explain. What kind of veggies are in the pastry's

Cathy, Scotch eggs are a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage, rolled in bread crumbs and then deep fried for 2.5-3 minutes and then baked for 10 minutes at 400*
Think of them as a full breakfast in one hand.

He can clear a room, Ron. His brother, on the other hand, will catch when you're hemmed up under a car on jack stands or working under the hood. Sneak attack! :s

A person might reasonably question his mental health when he feels compelled to open and read through a thread entitled "Tortuing Russ..."

Well, here I find myself ;)

The food pics are makin' me hungry (speakin' of torture).
