Surround back

Hi All,

I'm using a pioneer VSX-49TX receiver 7.1 and am adding the surround back speakers. The question I have concerns the placement of these bak surrounds.

Should they be the same distance from the listener that the fronts are?

Should they be spread appart from each other the same distance as the fronts and surrounds?

    Hi,

    Me too, I didn't hook up my surround
    backs yet. I have Adcom GTP 830 Digital Processing Pre Amp which is 7.1 and I'm planning to get RT25i for backs and LSiFX for rear.

    I need some advise that you mention, eg. Proper Location,
    Distances and etc.

    Anybody could give us any idea?

    all i know is if you are using the 500fx for rear surounds you should switch the l&r chanels if they are more than 6 feet apart
