No pot stirring intended F1 just asking a member why he considered that he felt the thread should be closed.And I could site no other reasons!
Perhaps the term juvenile was somewhat over the top, as it was my opinion and as its often said here its all in one's perception.

By your own definition you must consider Schurkey's comment to be the initial pot stirrer as he obviously found parts of the thread to be distasteful in stating his opinion.
And its a sad state of affairs when it considered to be brown nosing when attempting to express proper etiquette [especially to those you don't know personally] -
