Dang good deal. I am listening to my crossfades through a FIIO e10K dac as I type (of which I paid the full 250 for, still a good deal IMO). Really a fun set of phones that will last many many years of abuse.

I wish I wasn't poor right now (new baby). I want these, some Audio-Technicas, the wiresless B&W P5, the Sennheiser Momentum, and Bose Quiet Comfort ##.
Because the 6 pairs I have now just aren't enough... no I have a problem.

At 150 they are a no brainer. It's been awhile since I've spent a lot of time with headphones on, deployments will do that to you.. I'm glad the crossfades are out here with me!

Thanks! I just ordered a pair. I am currently in a death match between the Sennheiser Momentums and Philips Fidelio X1 (yes, very different). I love the X1s, but they are huge, do not fold up, and the open back design means I can't use them in public places, and I often work in coffee shops, libraries, and airplanes, so I really want something closed back and portable. So I am hoping these v-modas are the ticket. I will list the losers for sale here in the next couple weeks :p

Let me know how you like them. I have Momentums too & am looking to try something else. Need closed back as well. They look huge in the manufacture photos, & kinda ugly too. But if they sound good...

No sure how big Steve guttenburg's head is, but thy certainly don't look bigger that th Fidelios in this pic:

The momentums are by far the smallest over ear I have owned, but I have small ears and I find them to be little uncomfortable after just a couple hours...

They really aren't' tall that big and wear very well. They definitely are not ugly in my book

Oh and FYI, I don't have any bing membership, just an old hotmail account, and that's what I used to get the discount.
