Replacement MW6501s available?

I just picked up a set of SDA 1a's last week. One of the MW6501 drivers was replaced with a MW6510. I would like to correct the mistake and return it to the original MW6501. I just called Polk CS and the rep told me the MW6503 is now being used as the replacement for the 6501. Has anyone else been told this? Based on the specs I've seen the MW6503 does not seem quite equivalent to the 6501. Any thoughts/opinions?

the only two you can use are MW6600 and MW6501. Go to eBay and look they come up often. The MW6501 used to still be supported by Polk Call and ask for Kim Jasper he's the man on this stuff
