Preamp advice?

I'm ready to add a preamp to my system.Ive been looking at the Yamaha CA 1000 and the Marantz 1060,3200 models.Just seeking advice from more knolageble folks.Im currently running a Yamaha AV RX840 receiver with 3 amps.One Yamaha M-80 driving a pair of SDA 1c's and 2 H/K Citation 22's driving a set of monitor 10a's and a set of SDA CRS's respectively. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
