any what do you think?
What's up w/ their one year warranty or 5 year if you register and they feel
like honoring it?
For some reason I'm trying to talk myself off the Parasound A21 ledge...

Thanks tratliff. This seems to be so. As it won't work in my current stand...
Time in to invest in a good rack. -

Sure is....I did when I got married years ago.
I'd stick with the Parasound too.

my problem is I need two racks w/ those pointy things.

Brings back memories of Madona with her pointy things. Get the Parasound.

Hello red
Notwithstanding I am using wire racks that are ruining my sound....I like the A21, the additional power over the Yamaha (150 vs 250wpc@8ohm) is tangible through the 705's. Paired with P5, no hum/noise at max volume, clean sound, fast start, runs slightly warm same temp regardless of use, looks cool.
When I ran the A21 through the Yamaha unbalanced to use as a pre I got a hum I could never entirely get rid of. What pre are you going to use?
Anyone know if using the 12v connect to power up the A21 when I turn the P5 on with the remote in any way harms the A21. Should I be turning them on manually, thanks? -

Thanks for the insights! -
Oh, the pre is going to be a Emo xsp-1.
It is supposed to produce less noise than the A21, so I'm hopeful on that count.
I got a deal on it I couldn't refuse. It sounds so good as
such that it bumped the Vincent out.
I'm using an Emo XPA-200 and it was never supposed to
be in my main rig this long but is.
Hence the need for step up amp wise. -

No, it won't harm the amp, that's what it was designed for.HT SYSTEM-

I listened to their DAC2 HGC, AHB2 Amp, and SMS1 monitors at the AXPONA show this year. The system was nice. The sound was a little different from some of the other system I heard that day. There was some sweetness yet some bloom on the blues guitar track they were playing when I was in the room. It was a pretty cool little system and the amp sounds really good on paper....with the limited listening I can't say how the price and performance work out in comparison to the Halo stuff.....but the list was like $7440!
IMO, for about $3000 less I would go with the DAC2 HGC, an A23, a set of the Focal Aria 906's Bookies to get it done. Then spend the $3K on a couple of subs, wire, stands, music, etc...
