@B Run had a set of these, hopefully he can chime in"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Almost any amplifier should be thrilled to drive a 12-ohm load. More voltage, less current compared to low impedance.
The Devil's always in the details, though -- what does the impedance curve as a function of frequency look like? Are there significant capacitive or inductive reactance?
EDIT: Well... Google turned up this :-P
http://www.audio-ideas.com/reviews/loudspeakers/zu-omen-loudspeaker.htmlOur impedance numbers closely parallel Zu’s, too, ranging between 10 and 20 ohms, with a matching phase curve with smooth values that indicate good coherence through mid and treble ranges. As an audio old-timer, I will note that a good old Baxandall slope tone control with an axis around 800-1000 Hz could turn this speaker into a very flat reproducer, because of its evenness of response above and below. If there were ever an argument for such a tone control, the Zu Audio Omen Standard is it in spades. -

You can dive those Omen's with almost anything! They're a very easy load and very sensitive speaker. I used a Rotel receiver, Nad 326bee and ended up on a Peachtree iNova. I loved the way they pair nicely with the Peachtree, but they're supposed to really shine on S.E.T amps and i've also heard people have run them off T-amps no problem. They'd sound best with the Parasound out of the two choices, the warmer sounding amps can really provide excellent synergy.

i'm running mine with a ps audio sprout just for kicks.....for now.
No problemos.Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
I have been running both the Omen Def and Druid V with couple of tube amps during winter (Response Audio modified 3025 and 2a3 SET amp) and during summer I use Onix and/or TI 3116/3118 amps. As mentioned they work with just about any amp.
