I had a 1500a matched with a parasound PL/D 1100. Great sound with a very nice phono input on that unit. Remote controlled too.

Now its on to a better preamp, any thoughts or is this the wrong place to ask.

I have been looking at that preamp, one comment was it is bass shy not that my system has problems with bass. any thought's on that?

I never had a lack of bass with modded 2Bs.
