    Yes and no. Bose has toyed with quasi-folded horns, labyrinths and transmission line designs, but no, they won't call it that as everyone else does.

    They change the name to 'acoustic waveguide technology' and call it their own idea, put a patent on it, and market it to the masses.

    Actual folded horns, as seen the picture above are VERY tedious to design. Every length, every angle, throat size, location of the driver in the horn, are very very precisely laid out.

    Those silly things wouldn't be so bad if you could mount them out of site, maybe in the floor, or behind a wall. You could then cover the horn mouth with grill cloth or something.
