Looking to sell my excellent condition NAD 7000 receiver. No issues, all inputs and lights working 100% when taken out of service last year. I was keeping it around "just in case" but i have decided i want to be a minimalist. Hoping for a local deal to happen. Can possibly meet along the route between Madison to Appleton/Schaumburg/Milwaukee in the near future.

I'll confess... I have the remote but i am keeping it as a spare for my 7600 receiver. I think that I would have to spend $50-75 to replace it if my kids break it. Sorry about that.

You can use universal remotes on them.
Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze. -
hehe, don't blame you one bit. a minimalist should always have a backup hahaplainoledave wrote: »I'll confess... I have the remote but i am keeping it as a spare for my 7600 receiver. I think that I would have to spend $50-75 to replace it if my kids break it. Sorry about that.
(I'm trying to become a minimalist, myself, though it would appear that it's not sticking, considering the fact that I'm viewing this post, interested in your receiver)
ah, yes. I've just stepped into URC's as of late. quite handy, and doesn't take long to get used to them. I'd still probably want to get hands on an original all the same, at least for learning in proprietary buttons/commands. I enjoy the URC MX700/850 type. there's no access to late model equipment, but you can really customize the program. you just need OE remotes to learn commands from. You can use universal remotes on them.

to clarify, I meant no access to late model equipment command databases when using older URC remotes.I enjoy the URC MX700/850 type. there's no access to late model equipment, but you can really customize the program. you just need OE remotes to learn commands from.

The catastrophist in me outweighs the minimalist in regards to the remote. I am taking baby steps in my transition. I had three or four spare amps and four sets of speakers in storage last year at this time IIRC. If i sell this, i will have no spare gear at all. *Shudder*

you guys crack me up, but mostly because I can directly relate. I'm trying to move some gear, myself. I've been called a hoarder, haha - I prefer prepareder.I disabled signatures.

Hey Dave can you use that as a pre?
