Ok, I have a question, when Polk Audio puts the recommended power to each of their speakers is that the Peak, or the continuous RMS watts? Klipsch labels everything very clearly, the peak load 600W RMS 150W recommended power 100-500W. Just curious, Thanks!

Most I believe are continuous. But, they mean little and those numbers are meant as a guideline not a written in stone number. Pay little attention to those recommended watt numbers. Speakers love current, the more clean power you can give them, the better they will perform.

Thanks, i keep telling my brother that he is underdriving his speakers, and i just told him the only reason his tweeter blew was from clipping, that his speakers are awesome and can handle the power... but i dont think he wants to spend money on an amp. What to do?

He's your brother? This opens avenues of communication that you don't have with friends or other acquaintances.

I'd resort to giving him noogies.

You've given him the info he needs, he doesn't want to spend the money on power, so he will spend it constantly replacing his tweeters. His loss. Focus on getting the amp YOU need to power your speakers correctly.
