    Ok question I just got into SACD's glad I did. I would like to know how these MSFL CD's sound in comparison to SACD, or just the plain old redbook? The reason I ask is I have that Albert King on vinyl and it sounds not good at all flat and dull, and I rarely play it because of that, are the MSFL's sourced from the same Masters as the vinyl?

    Steve, MFSL uses the original analog masters, so the sound quality depends a lot on how the master sounds and of course, the mastering.

    In theory, SACD should always sound better, but I've found that the mastering has a lot to do with the end result. There are plenty of Redbook's that sound stellar.

    I have no idea if your LP is from the original master.

    Nahh, you din't give the impression that you were reneging on selling the CD Jesse. I just thought it was great that you were going to sell it and then after listening to the CD, found how great it is (again)! I love hearing that.

    I am telling you, you should have listened to the Days Of Futur Passed SACD again. :wink:
